The Klaprozenbuurt is being transformed into a mixed and vibrant neighbourhood, featuring a range of amenities and a large park. Borghese Real Estate is developing 236 homes here, across a total area of 25.260 m²: 91 private sector homes, 70 affordable rental homes, 25 affordable owner-occupied homes, and 50 social rental homes.
Sustainability and greenery are central to the development. A shared courtyard garden with native planting, along with green façades and climbing plants along the galleries, contribute to a natural appearance. In terms of energy, the project includes a PV system, a connection to district heating, and a thermal energy storage system based on ground energy. In addition, there is a strong focus on biodiversity, with features such as nesting boxes for bats and birds, as well as beehives and insect hotels. The development complies with current BENG (Nearly Energy-Neutral Buildings) requirements.
