Highest point Het IJland in Amsterdam

Tuesday 17 October 2017, the highest achievement of the project Het IJland was celebrated in Amsterdam. Het IJland is being realized at one of the last development sites in Haveneiland in the district of IJburg. This prominent location, near all facilities, is bordered on two sides by water. At the front there is free view over the IJmeer and the rear offers views over the marina.

The residential building consists of four interconnected buildings, which are technically independent and delivered phased. The 271 apartments in middle segment rentals ranging from approximately 43 to 90 m². They are divided between 5 to 8 floors.
Virtually all apartments have an outdoor area with views of the IJmeer or the marina. All residents can use the four enclosed courtyard gardens. Under the building there is a parking garage and a common bicycle storage room.

The construction of the second building is now in full swing. The completion will start at the end of 2017. Forecast completion of the complex starts in Q4 2018 to Q1 2019.

On behalf of Joost Scharenborg of Borghese Real Estate and Dennis Wedding from Amvest, the attendants were welcomed. Henk Dilweg, Director of BAM Wonen Speciale Projecten, gave an explanation of the project.

Then the flag was placed to reach the highest point. Following the official section, there was a chat with a snack and a drink at Restaurant N.A.P., which is located near the project.
